Our lovely restaurant, The Table at De Meye, is owned and run by chef couple Brendan Thorncroft and Leigh Williamson.
The Table offers an expression of a love for good food, fresh produce and wonderful company. The experience is all about the simple pleasure of sitting down to a beautifully cooked meal with family and friends, whilst enjoying the relaxed atmosphere of our hidden-away country estate.
You will never eat the same meal twice at The Table. Each week our chefs visit local farms and suppliers and base the set, 3-course menu on what fresh produce is available. The food is served on dishes and platters in the centre of the table, where guests serve themselves.
You will find that our restaurant’s atmosphere adapts according to the season. In summer- guests will experience long, lazy lunches on the lawns under shady oak trees- chatting, laughing, and drinking wine. In winter- hearty, comforting winter dishes await you, served in our historic white washed farm building, warmed by a crackling fire place.
