Bushvines planted in 1978 produce this striking example of chenin blanc, showing multiple layers of textures and flavours. Ripe lime notes stand out at first sip before opening up onto typical Chenin flavours of pear and quince. The wine has a very well rounded texture that fills the palate but is kept refreshingly together by the crisp and bright acidity that is prominent from entry to the finish.
The lingering palate of orange blossom aromatics pair beautifully with mediterranean style dishes, as well as served chilled with fresh salads, a variety of mild cheeses, fish and seafood, chicken dishes, sushi and creamy mussels.
